My closest friend is coming home. It's been years since I've seen her, and a decade since she's been here with the intent to stay, and for once I'm not under mixed allegiances. I'm just -- I'm just going to enjoy her.

Well, just so you know~ The castle just opened up and disgorged a fair army of royal guards, retainers, attendants, and a few dancers! Apparently someone got wind that you're coming up the pass today, and no one wants to let the future Queen of Kanemoria arrive in anything less than style~!
You might want to prepare yourselves. You're about to get mobbed, dressed to the nines, clipped and shaved and styled and then paraded around Norey~

... I ran into Edea while I was at the Palace, just a while ago.
I mean, I actually ran into her. Full body, it was very dramatic. She had a little suitcase, and that went flying, and at first I assumed she was just clearing all her things out of Julian's chambers because oh, that's awkward now! But it looked like she was actually packing.
